Privacy Policy

Account information: when you sign in with Google we receive and store your Google account identifier, email address and display name. We only request basic profile access — never Gmail, Drive, Contacts or other permissions, and we never see your Google password.

Gender (optional): during onboarding we ask your gender. This helps us personalise suggested replies — for example correct grammatical forms in Hindi and Hinglish. 'Prefer not to say' is always accepted, and your answer is stored only if you choose to save it. It is kept in a private profile field, never shown publicly, never used to restrict access or set pricing, and we never infer the gender of the people you chat with. You can change or delete it anytime in Settings.

Screenshots: uploaded images are validated and processed in server memory to read the text, then discarded. They are never written to permanent storage or exposed via a public URL.

Conversation text: depending on your retention setting ('Don't save', 1 hour or 24 hours) your current transcript may be stored temporarily so you can continue later. It is deleted automatically when that time passes, or immediately when you tap Clear Conversation. Generated replies are not stored.

Third-party AI processing: to read screenshots and write replies, content is sent to Google's Gemini model; voice notes and read-aloud use OpenAI's speech models. These requests are routed through Emergent's AI gateway. These providers process data under their own terms and may retain it for limited periods (for example for abuse monitoring). We do not use your conversations to train models.

Consent records: we record which policy versions you accepted and when. These records contain no chat content, screenshots or device fingerprints.

Logs: application logs record request types, counts and timings — not conversation content, screenshots or tokens. Logs are kept for up to 30 days for security and reliability.

Analytics & advertising: we do not use third-party analytics or advertising technologies. Optional marketing emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can opt out anytime.

Your choices: you can clear your conversation, delete your gender selection, change retention, or delete your account and all associated data (profile, preferences, consents, usage and stored conversations) from Settings. Deletion is immediate.

Security & requests: data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is restricted to your own account. If a security incident affects your personal data we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.
